Since I'm always looking for new ways to interact with fans (whoa, did I just say I have FANS?!? I mean, my BAGS have fans!), answer questions, and start ruminating on new bag ideas (or suggestions...Amy I mean YOU!) I've joined Plurk. My username is julipbags, go figure.
In other Julip Bags news, Knit Michigan is fast approaching! I went last year and it was a BLAST...aside from hanging out with people I never get to see anymore (since weekly knitting meetups are temporarily a thing of the past for me), ...Have You Any Wool? will have a bunch of the EBTK Sock Bags. According to Bridget, last year they were fightin' over them, so I made a few more for sale this time around. I'm still waiting for that moment when I actually SEE people fighting over my bags...because at that point my head will explode and my fellow DAK peeps will have to carry me out (or stuff me in a corner, whichever is easier).
A word to the wise...Knit Michigan fills up FAST...last year I stopped by at 10am and got the last parking spot in the main lot, left, came back two hours later and got the LAST spot in the AUXILLARY parking lot. Never underestimate the enthusiasm of knitters en masse!
Pilates and busted-back news...well, my back went out again on Saturday, this time from just standing up from my sewing machine. I'm getting verrrry verrrry tired of this, to say the least. I'm starting a new back-care-specific-physical-therapy class tomorrow, hopefully that will help a bit. I AM being very good about at least doing The Hundred every day, and try to do some careful stretching at work as well...it's amazing how much that has helped.
Now, for the last JB update...after much fussing and bitching and investigating, a new and improved Bunny Spindle Bag will be in both shops this week. Promise!
